Tempted to do this as my tap water has a definite odd taste that it didn't years ago. In Wales our water was normally nice so been looking into a way to filter it. Have used Brita filter jugs which do help but keep seeing ads for ones that connect directly to the taps. Anyone got one? Did see the Puure one but feels like Chinese drop shipping then you pay £80 a year for a sub to get filters which only last approx 3mths each. I'm on my own so would probably last a bit longer.

KYOT in line filter from UK water filters works well for us. 15mm copper connection in 10 minutes.

We have a water2 for similar reasons our water had an odd earthy taste to it. Filter has sorted it nicely
