I might not have to worry about this issue for another year, but looking at Q7s as a replacement for our Kodiaq (starting to use the third row of seats occasionally otherwise I'd like a Touareg), I've noticed differences between cruise control stalks.

Am I correct in saying that standard kit has been (and still is) regular cruise and speed limiter, with adaptive cruise always having been an option (unless a Vorsprung)?

You're correct, but it's even easier than that to see. Radar (and/or Lidar) are the two ugly rectangles in the radiator grille.

Thanks Dr G - I've noticed those on some cars so will keep a look out when searching now - not as discreet as the A6 C7 offering!
