Been looking online. I’d like a 5 door S1, but I’d like a low miles (sub 25k) and low owners car. They seem really thin on the ground. Doesn’t seem to be much of an active community of the car online either- am I missing something? Usually forums are a good place to buy a car, but the S1 forums I’ve found have very little traffic, perhaps as result of the cars being old now.

Great little hot hatch owned a 2015 from new and wish I'd kept it, only produced for about four years so like you say pretty scarce now and prices rising any for sale will probably end up on Autotrader but you would would have to be quick for a good one.

Hold in mind the age of the car you're not looking for low mileage, you're looking for something basically unused.

I actively buy these, and have found one such car this year. Sold the day it was advertised.

They do come up now and then, but you need your ear to the ground, patience, and to be very fast when one does.

Assume you've seen this one?

No idea on number of previous owners but it's currently the only 5-door S1 that fits your very low mileage criteria.

I would suggest familiarising yourself with the various options and focus on those with a higher mileage expectation. Nearer 40,000 would be a good compromise, but these were expensive cars new, so with a knowledge of upgrades, you will start to notice there are few cars that tick all boxes.

The Quattro exterior pack makes a good visual difference, though if thinking of retrofitting the spoiler for a five door is an expensive second hand item - £500+. The seats make a nice difference - £1000+ used. Optional metal gear knob £200 used or £350+ new

If the OP's still looking this S1 looks the best 5-door available at the moment, only just missing out on the super low mileage requirement (it's still very low mileage & 2 owners).

That’s nice isn’t it. Think ved is £330 on that. If it had been taxed a few weeks later it would be £195. What a bonkers system.

Love to know the story.

Built June 16, sold March 17. Only shows 1 service back in 2019.
