already posted this but prob worded the topic wrong!

i own a saab 9-3 aero 2003 model but wanting a little more from my car.

i previously owned a celica GT which was modified and i loved it!

basicly im wanting to straight swap or a small p/x on an elise s1 or s2, i dont know alot about these cars but quite sure i will love em!

spec of my saab is as follows:

2003 aero
laser red
17" wheels
6 speed manual
climate controll (dual zone)
full service history
bought from saab main dealer 4 months ago
grey leather with cream centered seats
usual aero spec
210 BHP
completly standard car
23,000 miles (next service in 11,000 miles)
tip top condition

any more questions please ask!

hope to have an elise v,soon!!!!!

cheers Rob!

Rob,

Reckon your best bet is to try a trade in as suggested, are there any Saab dealers who also do Lotus in your area? If not and you are willing to travel try Williams down here in Bristol as they do do both marques. I know Williams have a small range of used stock, don't know the value of your Saab and if you have funds to add/top-up? You can find them at www.williamsautomobiles.com
Good luck in your search.

Rob,
You will find it hard to tempt these guys away from thier Lotus. Sell it or trade it in. You will have a better choice for your money.

My recomendation is to have a chat to Chris at westover. He is a sterling guy and also an enthuiast. Remember, if you dont like what he says you can always say no thanks!

Have to agree with gooby - can't see many of the lotus boys changing.

However, now and then some of the lads have to wave a tearful goodby to the lotus when children come along. (actually for my part I bought my 'liz a week after my second child was born - nearly caused a divorce) Maybe try a post on Seloc as well. I will be parting with the 'liz only 1) if there was no alternative to feeding my kids or 2) when they prize my dead hands off the steering wheel. 3) The S3 turns out to be astonishing.

Take a look at my Elise in the classifieds:

It's just possible that I might be interested in the kind of swap that you are after. If you are interested in my car, let me know and we'll take it from there.
