May I ask has the car not been serviced since 2022? And the advert says mot expires June this year . Can you clarify please . John

Hi - yeah, sorry I forgot to add that!

The car will be serviced and have a full 12 months MOT. Oil change isn’t due for another 5,000 miles but I will do it anyway.

I don’t think the previous owner had the last service stamped.

What is the tread depth on the tyres? and
Is there damage to any of the alloy wheels?

Hi, lovely car. Just have a few specific questions:

I've checked the pics but any signs of rust around:
Front and rear wheel arches, Sills (side skirts) or around the tailgate and door edges?

Mechanically wise. Any reports, issues or checks on the VANOS, cooling system or head gasket?

Finally any checks or known issues with the subframe/mounts ?

All general e46 issues !

The car passed its MOT today with no advisories.

Last four MOTS are advisory free.

Service will be done in-house at Fremont Classic.

Hi, thanks!

No rust anywhere. She’s in great shape.

Passed MOT with zero advisory so mounts all good.

Can’t find anything in the paperwork regarding vanos but there’s so much of it that I could have missed it.

Temperature gauge sits bang on the middle around town and on a long journey. I recently drove 4 hours from Leeds and it was spot on!

Tyres are all good PS4s only fitted last year and with just a couple thousand miles if that.

No significant damage to the wheels. A couple of small marks here and there but as the pics shows, nothing gruesome.

thank you for your questions:

the car is supremely nice and clean, the seller has informed us that there no such issues with rust anywhere, also no known mechanical issues with VANOS or cooling systems or head gasket.
And yes E46 were always seen as week in the subframe mounts but there is no sign of this on the Alpina
