Mark, when did you get a Cerb (and do you still have the Chim ?)

Erm, right, back on subjext - sounds like the ECU isn't adjusting the idle to compensate the load from the AC compressor - have you had a laptop plugged into the ECU recently to check for fault codes ? I'd say check throttle pots & reset adaptive maps to start with (10mins work with a laptop & a flat head screwdriver)

MBE is the standard ECU....

I've got laptop, software & cable & can check pots & error logs.....

There are quite a few people on here now with the software, so I would suspect there is someone more local than me than can check it for you ???

Mine is now idleing too low (keeps stalling) & I can't work out how to knock the idle back up, so perhaps I should get some more "lessons" before messing up your car !

are you sure about race cams? Could be I guess from a racing tuscan?
Decat doesnt help except with flames.
OVerfeulling MBE - not sure there is such a thing? Maybe your car is tuned to overfuel to help with extra flames - not sure this is a good thing?

Just checked paper work from previous owner.Had Tuscan race cams and an E-prom upgrade plus a few other bits and pieces to the tune of £4,000,carried out by TVR power on the 12/12/04.

Gulp !!! I guess his old cams must have been shot to want to bother at that price.
Could have bought a 4.5 and got an Austec or Trackcar set up !
