I bought a nice old Rover 75 at the weekend. Lovely old thing, 1 owner, 2006, 74k miles in the proper JRG colour. Embracing my inner "Old Fart" 10 years early for no apparent reason.

Anyway.

It's fitted with one of these:-

And the code is missing, and I'm already missing my daily dose of Sasha & John Digweed. So I'm thinking of replacing it with a modern head unit as I know that there are modern - say - Blaupunkt units that have all the modern features but look like a period 80's bit of kit.

Any suggestions as to what to replace it with that still looks vaguely period?

Advice, as ever, appreciated.

If you can live without Bluetooth...(although it does have aux in), a pioneer DEH-P77MP would look right at home in the Rover 75...

I got one for £100 secondhand in brand new condition and boxed.

Amazing sound quality as well as it uses a 24 bit Burr Brown DAC.

The Skagen is cheaper if you don't want to pay £400 for a Bremen, but the Stockholm looks more like the original with a CD slot.
