I picked up the new car yesterday, its going for a ceramic coating (body, wheels and callipers). I was wondering if a DIY type ceramic coating for the leather (comfort seats) is worth the cost \ effort, anybody done this to their car?

I haven't heard of this before. Sounds like a terrible idea. It may make the seats too slippery. I like a seat that holds me in position - it's fabric or alcantara for me.

Yes, you can apply GYEON 'shield' to the leather

It doesn't change the appearance nor make it slippy

Thanks Chaps
Mixed comments (mostly poor) on the Porsche forum, I think I will stick to a regular clean with a good cleaner.

FYI I use this soap; a small quantity grated and diluted in warm water, worked in with a soft brush, then wiped off with a damp micro fibre cloth:

I use it for leather and alcantara.
