Peugeot 205 1.6 swap

Hey looking for some advice,
I have a 1.6 VTR engine swapped into my 205 GL (originally 1.1 carb engine) I have the full wiring loom from the saxo aswell.
Do i need to change the complete wiring loom or i can splice into the 205s loom or can i buy new sections and plug and play with the ECU from the saxo.
And can i run a 205 GTI tank/fuel pump or need a saxo fuel tank as i have already got a saxo fuel pump.
I have photos of the loom and engine and other bits n pieces if that is also helpful.
