Patio repointing - matching and not doing it all

I've got a fairly large patio area and there are now some gaps in the filler. I've watched a few videos on how to repair, which is easy enough, BUT how do I ensure the new filler is not a hugely different colour? I've seen this for cement at B&Q https://www.diy.com/building-supplies/cements-addi... but it does not seem to mention patio gap filler. Any advice/help greatly appreciated...

It won't match, but does it matter? After a season it'll be weathered anyway.

Six months after you patch those bits some more will fail and need sorting, rinse and repeat until it’s more patch than original (just to echo the point that it’s not worth stressing over getting a perfect match)
