Techy/ Local Help Required........

Posted last week about a hot stalling problem thats recently surfaced......car continues to do it every so often, and its always when hot and sat at junctions/ lights etc while idling.
Well, yesterday after it had it's latest "bout" of the condition in the middle of Birmingham, i caught it before it died but when i went to pull away, it seemed to lose all power when lifting the clutch.....it was revving okay but any attempt to pull away felt like i was driving a tank with a 50cc engine:(?????? After pulling over, it seemed to clear after a minute.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Also, is there anyone in the Brum area that has a laptop and software who'd be willing to plug me in (for the price of a beer of course!) to see if anything is going on???

Okay, think i'll get myself a copy of the software and have a butchers myself. What cable is required for it??

You need an RS232 9-pin connector - male at one end and female at the other...

And the s/w - the ECU output is under the velcro passenger footwell patch...oepn the ECU box with a screw driver and there is your RS232...
