What competition does autotrader have? There was a time when pistonheads classifieds were streets ahead of autotrader, but for the last decade or so that’s been reversed.

Adds £250-300 per car which, not his fault, will presumably be passed onto customer.

If price differences between private and retail rise could fuel more private sales, but how many people are genuinely prepared to buy as a private sale for a car above a certain amount? Given amount of crossovers on pcp/lease out there, appears vast majority like the in person/online showroom
