Popped into Bill Smith's in Chester today for a general mooch around and had to take a triple look at the price of the Kawasaki Z7 Hybrid in the showroom.

Brand New, should be £11,949, but they had them discounted to £6,998. Had a look on Autotrader since I came home and found them even cheaper at £6,499 brand new at a couple of other dealers, so a discount of £5,450 off RRP.

Didn't even know about the model to be honest, but, was surprised at the discount.

Anyway, random post over!

Somebody posted the same on here a few weeks ago.

Conclusion was nobody wants one even at the discounted price.

I can’t see the point of it, particularly in that style of bike.

I don’t believe our local Kawasaki dealer has one , and when I was looking for a bike it was never mentioned to me .
At the 6k mark I think they could sell , but I think 11 k would be a hard sale , which seems to be the case .

I think there was a review in Bike magazine a while back. If memory serves, it scored 6 out of 10.
Heavy, expensive, not enough oomph & way too expensive. Also, real world MPG was nothing to write home about.
Yep, seems pretty pointless, but at least Kawasaki are trying out different stuff.
