Hi, why is there a discrepancy in the mileage recorded on the MOT certificates back in 2019?

Car was in storage asked them to keep a mot on it I was told a member off staff took the mileage off a another car
Which was being stored happened for 2 years I did not now I was abroad and I was told nothing can b done about it idiots
