I have an outward opening wooden door which leaks under heavy rain which I would like to weather proof ahead of fixing some wood-rot.

I can’t see anything which is obviously designed for what I need, which I think is:

- small canopy over the top
- some sort of rubber seal which fits over the hinge side
- some sort of seal at the bottom

Does anyone have examples of how they’ve sealed their doors? Any ideas gratefully received!

Ah, thank you! It did seem like it would be difficult to seal up completely. An awning looks like a good idea. I think I can run a seal down the inside of the hinge edge too.
