I'm going to be fitting three of these for my Sister.

No real problems in doing the job but thought there may be some experienced fitters here.

I presume its a better job if I remove all current archtrave and replace with non chamfered planed timber with matching cross board at the top the length of the track?
Which are better to fit, bottong guides that go in a routed groove in the door or the double roller type that fite either side of the bottom of the door?

Any other tips?

Buy a 2m spirit level.

Do not start the job before measuring exact how un-level the floor is.

Don't worry I have a five piece level kit with 2m included and a DeWalt Laser level.

I read the 'Tools you wish you'd bought sooner' thread so am over supplied with tools!
