previous top speed thread

just been reading(by accident)a previous thread about all you nutters and your top speeds!***kin hell, i thought i was a real speedfreak but i must be a tame sunday driver compared to some of those top speeds.Has anyone cracked the double ton yet?or has anyone done anymore stratospheric speeds.These modern TVR's sound like they have such awsome grunt and they all seem to sail past 155mph.Must get a test drive but i don't think they'll let me do that with the salesman beside me

Nah just put ya foot down and ignore what he says. I did when test driving an M3Evo. I easily got to 155 and he diddnt moan, mind you it was a cabrio with the roof down so I couldnt hear anything!! he did moan a bit about me exiting a junction sideways tho.....
