Finished my R34 GT-R refresh

So after 15 years of ownership and spending the last 4 years or so refreshing the car (changing the colour back to bayside, and replacing all the nissan oe components & all modifications like for like (for new). The final stage being collecting the car back from PPF this week and putting some much needed miles on. IG is matt.4877.

Basic spec as it stands - 30,000kms

obviously I’ve replace a ton of oem parts and consumables

Engine: (built for over 1,000ps & dyno on service file to prove it made this) current output a safe mid 700’s as HKS 2835R turbos were added replacing the HKS 3037’s.

Bloody Hell!

Did you buy it with the engine in it, or did you have to get it commissioned by HKS and then sent to Top Secret afterwards?

That doesn't sound easy from 10,000km away from Chiba!

if you haven't already seen it. The AutoArt Z Tune model is pretty bloody close to your car. (check eBay etc for listings)

My friend bought it new in Japan in 1999. It then spent about 10 years in and out of top secrets workshop having various mods including 2 different engines. The last being this one (previously bigger turbos were added) its featured on national geographic documentary on the gtr & speedhunters (search gio rebirth)

Very nice - good effort.

I had a Vspec II in bayside blue, car is currently on collecting cars.

For me, the amber side and front repeaters ages the car. I had clears on mine. Gratuitous pic. Enjoy!
