Depends on the year of manufacture, i think the 2000/2001 cars had a renault 11 motor and relay, so not adjustable.

Sorry not sure on the newer ones

Do you mean adjustable in that you can adjust the frequency of wipes and to make it wipe 3 times after using the washer jet rather than 5 times?

If so, it is not adjustable but you can buy something which does the job from Eliseparts.com iirc

it was the delay interval really. So that when it is just spotting with rain I can extend the interval to 30 sec, and when it gets heavy decrease the interval. had a bosch one that did this, but nolonger available, so was looking for alternatives.

Thanx

http://eliseparts.com/ - Under Gadgets and Gifts

Wiper Delay £ 52.82inc

Very simple to fit ( 2 wires). Takes approximately 30 minutes. Splice in our 2 wires and replace the standard Elise relay with our bespoke relay and mount the adjuster knob on the steering column shroud.

You then have infinite wiper delay from 1 to 30 seconds PLUS a 2 sweep wash wipe. (Lotus original 4 sweep wash wipe).

FITS ALL ELISE S1, S2, 340R and EXIGE.

The part you need is Bosch: 0 986 335 058

Obtainable for £30 or so from VW dealers.

Or try and start another group buy like this one:

Good man!

If you find a few extra I'm sure you'll get some takers on vx220.org.uk

Mine works a treat, although it was a bit fiddly to fit.
