2011 Lotus Evora S Manual
Discussion
Hi - I’m not sure how to be certain, but this is an S, in which I believe close ratio gearbox was standard (as I said though, I’m 100% sure)… https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a15124993/201...
I’m not sure what else I can say on the gearbox/clutch/linkages but there is a lot of service documentation attached that you can review.
Whilst I love the car, my wife is not a fan, and lets me know every time she drives it. I’m afraid this is the reason I’m selling; I have little choice.

This is my old car (1-2 owners ago)
Absolutely superb and thought many times about buying it back. Yes it does have the close ratio box. It s had the linkages adjusted well back in the history. Change is/ was lovely. When I had it the 3rd cat was also removed leaving 2- so fine for MOT but with perfect sound.
It's also got a genuine lotus Evora 400 gear knob (solid metal) in place of the awkward looking standard item. I still have the standard one (!) if the new owner reads this and wants it..
It was bought by me from Bell and Colvill, treated with kid gloves and 20k of that mileage was dual carriageway commute to my job as a teacher. Miss those days!

This was also our car for 2 years. We bought it from B&C prior to it running out of the factory warranty. We traded in our JPS liveried 2-Eleven that was previously Scott Walkers car for this Evora. Sold it back to Jamie 2 years later. We believed that the first owner was a pilot living in the Crawley area who traded it back in for another new Evora. We ran the Evora alongside our Elise 111R and `Elan M100 [which we still have] Whoever buys this car will enjoy it a lot. .
