Rear discs and pads?

Hi all.

I'm in brum visiting my parents and my bible is in my house in Norfolk. (Useful I know)

Somehow my disc has cracked on the journey here and I want to replace it before going back. Just need to know what the rear discs and pads are off if someone could look it up for me.

Oh well, time to go and start taking bits off my car.

Is it solid or vented? You will need to take the broken disc off anyway, so I suggest you take it off now and take it with you when you go for the replacements.

They are solid discs, going to take the disc up with me. Just like like to be armed with all the facts in an ideal world.

They will be Ford. They sound like the same as the V8S rear, which are 250mm solid discs as used on a Sierra P5 (probably on many other Fords too). Last time I got a pair they were available from stock at my local motorfactors but relatively pricey, something like £50 a pair IIRC. You need to take the original to ensure you get an identical match though.
