I have a reg plate number and need to find the cars details

It's the original plate from the car, and now I believe the car has a private plate as the DVLA can't find it!

Any other place I can look to get the info ?

Have a look at carsnitch.co.uk, it usually shows plate changes etc.

Thanks for this recommendation, I was trying to find an old Jag I sold 8 years ago, couldn't find it in the usual DVLA or MOT database by original plate, so I thought the buyer may have just used it for parts when I sold it which i thought was a bit sad as it was in quite good nick.

I have just found it on carsnitch, and saw it had many more years of 10k a year driving under a new reg plate. Though it looks like the list of MOT advisories that was getting longer and longer finally did for it in 2023.
