Home mouse removal recommendations

Hi all

We have started to get mice in the house so I am asking for recommendations for someone to deal with this please. We've had a couple of companies out but one did a poor job and the other one we sent away this morning for various reasons. So we are looking for recommendations out in West London zone 6.

The house is a fairly modern house but it has a couple of quirks like underfloor heating and a rain water tank under the garden Which feeds the toilets. So there are various different things to consider.

Just buy some 'Tom and Jerry' mousetraps and DIY. They are too numerous to pay someone to sort.

We have done this but we want to rent it out so we want to avoid this problem for tenants

We had the same but sometimes it is near impossible to ensure they never get in. They are there for food and so if tenants leave ANY around it will encourage them.

We had the same issue as you but i between us moving out and leaving the place for a few weeks, the mice left and didn't come back

Thanks for your replies. It's funny because we had the opposite experience. It's been quite empty for a while and when we've gone back they have made a home by the hot water tank and in the dog's toy box. So we are going to give it our best shot. This didn't seem to be a problem until last year. Really. The house is opposite playing Fields and very near to the woods which doesn't help.

Used these https://www.gardeningexpress.co.uk/2-x-prebaited-r... for the last 25 years or so. Easy and mice nearly always go somewhere else to die. Always have one under the kitchen cupboards.
