Check car audio for power

2008 Laguna standard head unit with Bose amp and speaker (factory spec)
When I test drive the car I had no audio until I hit a pothole and it came on, bought the car, drove home with audio, parked on the drive, showed my wife... With audio.
Nothing ever since.
Someone told me to check it powers up, I went on YouTube and it advised to 'twist red and yellow together then connect that to battery positive and black to negative.
As you can see from the diagram I have 2 x red, 2 x yellow and 3 x black.
Do I twist all red/yellow together and all blacks together ??????????
