Yes, seeing people on Beermountain and the like head off is irritating. Suppose it’s not long now really, but still.

I'm now going to leaving the office lunchtime as I need to pack for 5.30am depart tomorrow morning and to be honest my body may currently be at a desk in the City of London but my head is already at Le Mans.

Not leaving until wednesday afternoon, lots to get sorted (workwise) before then so time will fly..

Obviously keeping an eye on the Le Mans updates on here and socials and discussing important stuff with my team like 'who has room for a kettle).

Not leaving until Thursday morning but already started packing the car!

Going to suggest leaving on a Wednesday next year. I think I’ll get them all the way to the weekend before eventually.

Yup, same here.. I have friends that have been down there since Saturday and not leaving until tomorrow morning..

Already thinking about getting the car packed when I get home later, and trying to think about anything I might have forgotten.

Wrote the packing list early, packed 90%.

Getting more antsy tbh, good thing I’m working from home today. I’d be an utter liability in the office.

Stuck in the office here.. Time isn't moving anywhere near fast enough for my liking.

I finish today at 3.30 and I’ll be off to Portsmouth at 6pm to catch the late ferry. This time tomorrow I should hopefully be arriving at Epinettes. Seems to come round quicker each year!

I'm heading for Portsmouth about Lunchtime Wednesday..

But to be honest I've already checked out of work..

I swap between looking at the latest weather, the route from the ferry, and the latest postings from the lucky s0ds already down there..

Stroll on Wed am..

Sorry, forgot to add, I think my excitement level has reached frothy..

In the office today before we leave early tomorrow morning. After seeing all the photos from others, our group agrees that we should have gone earlier.

Struggling to be productive before leaving Wednesday late morning, made worse through the excitement of playing a successful game of car boot Jenga on Sunday and realising I can fit a lot more into a GR86 than I expected.
This year's coverage of Le Presage and the test day has whet the appetite and definitely got me thinking about taking in the whole LM experience next time.
