Panamera 4 971 Servicing Advice
Discussion
Would love some advice from those with long Porsche histories.
I have a Panamera 4 from 2017 (971.1).
103K miles with FPSH and I've continued the extended warranty as I want to sell the car, but just love it too much.
The car had a major service last year at 82K, and whilst the car has been in with them to look at an engine light issue (possibly faulty sensor, but engine is also rattly so might need engine timing chain replaced) they have said the car needs spark plugs changing - would this have been done at the major service, or does changing every 20K miles sound about right?
Given it's been 20K miles since the last service, I'm also in two minds whether or not to get an additional service done this year - and whether to stick with Porsche or find a good indy in the West Midlands (would love suggestions!).
I will probably look to sell the car this year, and the current warranty will run out in August - I doubt anyone buying a car of this age will care about the Porsche warranty?
Would appreciate some advice from the wise old pistonheads on here!

Re Porsche warranty: on the contrary, I think this would definitely help you sell a car of that age.

This is why this forum helps - you're absolutely right and my thinking has just been askew.

I think it's the sudden bills that's thrown me as I hadn't budgeted for £2.5K's worth of work when it's just in to sort out a faulty sensor and have a timing chain replaced!
I will ask if they can perhaps do some sort of deal to bring it closer to an independent; just bought a house so Capex is an issue!
Thank you!
