Zandvoort F1 2026
Discussion
After a great weekend at Spa last year with the family on the end of a holiday in Belgium, I'm considering a Zandvoort trip for the last Grand Prix next year. It doesn't fall within our school holidays but we would possibly do a trip as foot passenger on the ferry to Amsterdam, stay there (or nearby) and get trains out to the grand prix.
Any tips for seats and travel? We only got general access tickets for Spa as it gets expensive with 2 kids in tow, but that worked well with plenty of good vantage points. Are cheaper tickets at Zandvoort reasonable?

I believe Zandvoort have announced that they won't be hosting a GP after 2026. So there may well be a rush for tickets, and a large contingent of Dutch supporters who want to make sure it goes out on hell of a party!
That could be either a good or a bad thing depending on your opinion of rowdy dutchmen and techno music!

Does anyone know why Zandvoort is being dropped, money? No profit?
According to this English-language Dutch newspaper, it was the circuit’s decision. https://nltimes.nl/2024/12/04/dutch-grand-prix-zan...
Reading between the lines, they have the same issue as Silverstone that there’s no government support, and don’t want to renew (at likely escalating annual hosting fees) past the career of a certain Dutch driver. Like Silverstone, they need the place totally sold out for all three days to make the finances work, and it’s all rather marginal as an event.
