Has anyone considered or seen headlight covers for Mk1 Cerbera, similar to Mk3 Chimaera? Subtly makes the Mk3 Chimera (as an example) more modern looking. Would be great to see some examples but unable to find any on the internet.

Not seen any but I'd be interested if there were. I've got a coupe of old beadlight bezels to fill and fair. The plan will be to mould my own using perspex....

I have converted a couple of Cerberas to use the mk3 chim headlight arrangement . It is quite a big job as the easiest way is to graft on that area of the chimaera wing .If you can mould the perspex to fit the cerbera aperture that would be great ! if you manage it and need help with the new lamp pod let me know .
I am currently working on a Cerbera and have put mk2 Tuscan light pods in . It is another much bigger job than expected and I had to reprofile the wing from the top of the wheelarch forward .

I quite like the idea, but would you need to replace the whole light shroud, as with the Chim one, or just affix the perspex to the existing with sealant?

If I can mould a sheet of perspex (possibly lightly smoked tint) to the same size as the existing big headlight bezel then I think it would work ok. Any GRP underneath I'd paint black. Might need to use some rivnuts (or sealant as is traditional....) to hold the perspex in place.

Would you make a mold first then form over that? Be repeatable then

Cut to rough size, then trim afterwards? I'd love to think of warming in the oven, but I'm still not allowed car bits inside after using the dishwasher as a parts washer biggrin

This is awesome looking, nice job! It's a mini resto-mod look for the Cerbera (gosh it and we are getting old!). Might you have more photos to share with the Mk3 Chimera covers? Any easy way to have this mass produced for DIY and get you some business from this? 😉
