Can America help save the sports cars for the enthusiast? I found out on Sunday Corvette are making the Stingray and Z06 in RHD so I went to have a look today. I was very impressed considering the Stingray is £108k. The Z06 is £190k. I was told PCP deal is estimated to be £20k deposit and £1k per month.

I understand everything is relative but I thought a Stingray at £108k was good value considering an Alpine A110R, Boxster GTS (with necessary options) and Lotus Emira V6 are similar money. I configured a new 911 Carrera T and GTS at £130 & 170K!!!

So The Stingray is good value and looks like a supercar but most importantly it has a n/a V8 and NO hybrid systems. Just pure V8 power and sounded great. I thought the Interior was cool and infotainment looked modern and bang upto date.

Apparently the Z06 is so much more expensive because it's a totally different engine and based on a Ferrari 458. It looked amazing in all black with plenty of Carbon. Genuinely looked in the same league as a Lamborghini and Ferrari.

After the Corvette Showroom I went to look at the Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Again much the same. Looked amazing, sounded unbelievable and you can buy it with a manual. The Engine again is a n/a V8. I would say the the Dark Horse is a M2 rival but I would have the Mustang all day long on looks and noise.

SO how can America import and give us n/a v8's supercars and manual GT's but Europe can not? maybe MAGA could be movement to help the enthusiast. Make Automotive Great Again.
