Firsf one for '26: Less Than Jack + Bouncing Souls & a couple more in Leeds, early March.

Not sure of cost as brother booked, but assume circa £45 (cost confirmed @ £41).

Booked in a Friday/Saturday night combo of Viagra Boys and Sleaford Mods in March time for some post punk action.

SlamDunk (North), late May. £120 inc fees etc. 23 bands annouced so far and, surprisingly, I've only seen one play before.

Sublime playing the UK for the first time's the highlight (Bradley's son Jakob now the frontman).

Only a couple so far:

Suede
Mogwai

Both at Portsmouth Guildhall, been a fallow venue for decent bands for a few years now compared to the 80s and 90s. Shame as it’s one of favourite venues with loads of good memories.

I saw Machine Head there a few years ago and thought it was a good venue, but haven't really seen anything advertised there recently.

I have a resolution to only see bands I've not seen before in 2026.

We'll see how that goes
