Fuel filler hoses
Discussion
Just wanted to share the dodgiest fuel hoses I've seen for a while. I was swapping out the fuel filler hoses on my mk1 Tuscan to reduce fuel smells in the boot. I had silicone replacements to hand from Motaclan and the larger hose just fell apart with some manipulation with a screwdriver. I didn't need to cut it off in the end.
Looks to me like a water hose was used! Both hoses were un-reinforced, no SAE markings and I know the fuel tank had been out in the last 10 years for repair so I'd thought the hoses had been changed or at least checked at that time.

Good job I changed them. Will swap out the small hose that the connects the tank to the roll over valve on my next free weekend. Picture below of the new hoses in place and yes it was a devil of a job.
