Just wondering if anyone's thinking of doing this in 2025, haven't seen a thread on here so far?

I'm thinking about it. It's good that it's a Saturday night.

Yeah, same here.
I'm due to pick up the Gallardo from service and MOT that day, might be a nice swansong before I sell it

Will definitely depend on the weather no, not doing it if I can't have the roof down all night!

I'm hoping to have a crack at it this year. Potentially tight on time for the Saturday night, due to a following engagement, so may do the Friday night instead.
There are currently over night roadworks on the A30 near Redruth. Diversion is from Scorrier to Carland Cross. Might add 10 mins?
Does anyone know of other potential delays?

The total trip would be 1000 miles for me so I’m going to reserve judgement until I know more about the weather and my own tiredness levels but I would love to go!

I'm thinking about doing it contingent on good weather! At the moment it's looking nice on both ends so I'll keep an eye out. Would be nice to know who else is considering it too!

Good luck to those doing it tonight. I didn’t start a form this year as I knew I couldn’t make it this year. Hopefully back to doing it next year. Keep an eye out for the form in January

I was down at Lands Ends for the start last night and it was surprising how many were having a go this year.

Lots of Lotus there so i guess an owners group decided to have a crack at it.

Lovely evening for it.

If it’s the same as the last year I went (2023) it’ll be the Norwich Lotus Club

I live near Lands end so just went home after they all went off, I'm tempted to give it go next year though.

A video of the attempt from Back Road Hero an EV. This isn’t a sponsored post but please watch the video, all the money raised through the ads goes to cancer research which I’m sure we can agree is an excellent cause. He’s got some pretty good other motoring challenges on there as well.

It was an awesome night.

Only one small diversion running parallel to the A30 from Chiverton to Carland Cross, which cost about 4 minutes.

I did it successfully in 2014 and there were about a dozen cars and 4 motorbikes.

About 40 cars this year.

We did it in my daughter's MX5 ND and had great fun.

Oh, and we made a wee video.

Very nice video. I hope this event doesn't get any more popular, seems it's comfortably below the radar at the moment.
