An unprovoked attack on a neighbour, yet "Israel declares emergency".
I get that Netanyahu needs WWIII to keep himself in power and out of gaol.
But why have we thrown our lot in with these genocidal maniacs?
Or another way to look at it is a preemptive strike on a terrorist state that was increasing looking like developing a viable nuclear weapon within a matter of weeks.

Iran’s stated aim is to wipe Israel from the face of the earth, and they are perhaps weeks away from having the nuclear capability to do so. I would say that is the very definition of provocation.

The world is a very dangerous place at the moment, but having a terrorist state armed with nuclear weapons makes it even more dangerous. I started school in Iran and it’s a beautiful country with lovely people; lets hope they are given the opportunity to overthrow their rulers.

Just what the world needs at the moment, or maybe not .
Yeah, we could certainty do with a fewer extreme country's causing grief at the moment. You know places like Iran, North Korea, China and Russia, why can't their leaders just f
At some point in the future I can see a collection of Muslim countries clubbing together and wiping Israel off the face of the earth. Israel don’t seem to realise this. I’ve said this before but they are themselves becoming anti-Semitic with their rabid terrier approach.
It was inevitable. The World cannot have a Nuclear armed Iran. Well done to Israel…sometimes talks just fail and you have to revert to military means.
I don’t suppose the first attacks will have eradicated the Nuclear threat so now the hard work begins. They have to finish what they have started. I don’t see any talks continuing.

Iran fund and train Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis so "unprovoked" is debatable . Whether it is wise is another matter as proxy wars may be less destructive than outright conflict.
