Hi,
I have a 2019 Mazda CX-5 with 45,000 miles. About two months ago, I started hearing a clunking noise from the front passenger side whenever I go over potholes or rough roads. Smooth speed bumps are fine.

Today, I replaced both drop links, hoping they were the issue, but the problem persists.

I watched some YouTube videos on how to check whether the top suspension mount is in good condition, and it seems like there is excessive movement in my top mount.
Could this be the cause of the clunking noise?

Thank you!

No, worn top mounts could not possibly cause that clunking noise. /s

Doesn't the question kinda answer itself?

Have you checked the springs are not broken?
