Jaguar FType vs Porsche Boxster 718

I've owned neither of the specific ones you mention, but I have had a Boxster 987S and currently an FType V6S.

You can't go wrong with either in my opinion.

Boxster feels smaller and handles better. More of a precision tool.
FType is bigger and more of a GT car, but great drama with the noise.

I will definitely have another Boxster at some point. I think this discussion might be in the wrong section and is perhaps better in Car Buying.
