Show me your robo-mowed lawn
Discussion
Hello All,
I must preface this by saying that I did read the last 20 or so pages in the big 140 page robo-mower thread, but it wasn’t visual enough for me. I like pictures!
Currently, I can get round my (very small) lawn with the push-along mower in sub 4 minutes. We’re moving soon, and that will no longer be the case. Everyone I’ve showed pictures to have asked how quickly I’ll be purchasing a ride-on but I don’t think it’s big enough as warrant that.
What I hoped I would find in the aforementioned big thread were photos of people’s lawns so that I could judge if my new lawn would be a good candidate, the few photos in there were of relatively square, flat lawns, quite unlike what I’m soon going to have to deal with - below are some photos of it. The borders aren’t particularly well defined, the bottom of the garden becomes quite overgrown and leads into woodland via a small stream crossing and it has a couple of ponds/paths in the middle with multiple mature trees thrown in, sounds to me like a bit of a nightmare for a robo-mower but I quite like the idea if it’s feasible. Perhaps you could tell me your thoughts, recommendations and your experiences with your robo-mower.
