Hi, I have a GT4 with Porsche extended warranty, i want to have car set up for occasional track and fast road, this would involve Geo, corner weight, and adding front shims and rear adjustable control arms (non Porsche) plus changing front pads and fluid to non porsche parts, will this invalidate the Porsche warranty for the vehicle, i know in the past Porsche have been very strict about the fitting of non Porsche products, car is due next service and warranty extension March 2026, TIA

Undoubtedly.

Even having a dashcam hardwired would've invalidated mine.

Porsche do take a dim view of non Porsche parts being fitted especially if the work is done by a third party. Dashcams are an issue if they are spliced into the wiring loom. It wouldn't/shouldn't affect the warranty if you use the 12v under the dash or use an unused fuse slot.

It also depends on the relationship with your OPC.

My 991.2 GT3 has had BBS wheels fitted to it for at least four years….warranty never been a problem. Very OPC dependent I guess.

Read the warranty - it’s pretty clear.

If the changes you make cause an issue you’re on your own.

But if you make some suspension tweaks and your engine detonates, the warranty still applies.
