That’s just a common aero flat upgrade, fits most cars.

Flat blade upgrade using a hook adaptor. You might have to use some force until it clicks in place.

There are a few different ways to fit them depending on the design. On the Bosch ones you squeeze the cover mounted to the blade and hinge it up. On others there may be the plastic adaptor.

If in doubt, fit the old wiper back on and take it to your local garage who may fit it for free, or find a know-it-all at work, or last resort pay Halford £8 or whatever to do it.

Like that. The small adapter clips into the blade fitting onto a small horizontal bar, the pointy ends matching. The "tails" sprung ends are what keeps it from slipping off the open end of your hook. You can see the adapter fitted here with the tails sprung end just visible on the right.

Are you new to this motoring caper? Are you the reason the push button fitment wipers are all the rage?

Asking for help in an appropriate place is a trait to be extolled not mocked.

You’re absolutely correct. I apologise if any offence was taken, and that was actually taken with the tongue in cheek humour it was.

Number 1 tip when changing wiper blades. Put a towel or cardboard on the screen. If the arm slips out of your hand, it really can crack the screen.

Not happened to me, but seen it 1st hand. Nothing to lose, everything to gain.

I did that on a Primera in 1997 and I'm still cross about it.

We've never met, yet I feel that pain.
