ADAS Calibration 2023 Corolla - Birmingham or Norwich
Discussion
Hi,
I'm looking for someone who can do an ADAS calibration in either Birmingham or Norwich. I've tried a few people who've said it has to back to Toyota because they don't have the software. It's for the rear radar (4135A-SRR3A). Does anyone have any recommendations please?
Thanks
Andrew
Long story
Someone hit my car in a car park and drove off, I didn't want to claim off insurance but Toyota wanted £2000 + body work and paint which included replacing a rear BSM radar which had been cracked. I had the bodywork fixed at my local body shop (along with some other existing damage) and put a second-hand BSM in it. The second-hand radar worked great for ~20 miles at which point it started throwing an error (axis misalignment) and it disabled again (SEA,PKSB, BSM and RTCA). I'm hoping that the BSM is working fine BUT because it wasn't initially calibrated gave a reading outside of the spec and the computer has now taken it offline.
I'm now looking for someone not to take my eyes out just to calibrate the module. I figured it's a couple of hours workshop time max so somewhere around £200 would be reasonable.
I fully accept they could do it and the second hand module is faulty etc etc etc
