Any advice on selling a classic would be very useful. I have been advertising a classic for sale for sometime time and while there has been some interest, frankly I just cannot be bothered with the hassle of dealing with people who want to spend hours looking, chatting and driving. I am happy to sell for less than I would get if I persevered with private buyers, but I am wondering if there is an easier way to sell. Obviously I know about auctions and I’m not sure that they are worth the hassle again of getting paid etc so I am wondering if there is a dealer anyone knows about that offers classics for sale on commission (eg sale or return). Many thanks

I think this is highly dependent on what car it is. Some make sense to go to a dealer on a commission sale basis, others will only be suitable for auctions/ classic car websites.
If you could say what the car is, that'd help with recommendations.
