2005 Honda Accord Head Unit Replacement

Hi guys,

I've recently bought a 2005 Accord estate which has the factory sat nav heat unit. I'm looking for some advice with regards to the possibility of upgrading it to an android auto unit. The difficulty I'm having is that the a/c and fan speed controls are connected to the OEM touchscreen.

Is anyone aware of any options available to keep the a/c controls and have phone connectivity? I'm not a fan of the bluetooth radio transmitters that plug in to the cigarette lighter.

They sold millions of Honda Accords and so there are many options. Post a picture of the exact model you have.

Is it a petrol or diesel?

2.2 diesel, manual.

You may struggle for a solution then as the diesel a/c is wired differently to the petrol and there are less reliable aftermarket options.
