VANTAGE SUN VISOR QUESTION

Hi
My Vantage has the original style sun visors with the uncovered mirror on them.
I have managed to find a pair of the later style visors however they are in black and I need grey ones.
I am happy to get these retrimmed but I can’t see an easy way of separating them. A thin blade will fit in the centre join but I’m reluctant to use any force. There is a picture of just the alloy frame on Aston Martin Bits but I’m still not sure how it all fits together.
I don’t suppose anyone has any ideas how to get them apart?

Can't help with separating, but my solution was a flap-like mini visor attached with a nice stainless cap-head screw. A piece of stiff wire, some card and a piece of headlining material. Sorry about the crappy photo, but you will get the idea.
