350SE WOW!

Well I went and done it, K plate 350se. 350mile journey home was full of smiles. Needs a bit of tlc but shortly it will be sorted. Couple of question. Are the plugs, filters etc the same on the 3.9 engine as the 3.5.

yes its basically the same engine with bigger bores / mod'ed heads and cam etc etc but the sundries are the same

Cheers Matt. It is no.23. I hope by recognising it cdt, you don't know something about it that I should know. Gonna give it a full service and new fluids throughout. Brakes are a bit spongey but from what i can gather they were a weak point. Hopefully new dot5.1 helps

I only recognise it by the fact it is a J reg - don't think any 350SEs are.

I'm trying to document the details all 25 and get a photo of each of them. I have number 1.

Tony - glad you're pleased with it. Hope you didn't has a too traumatic trip back up north. Good to know that it didn't misbehave, you always worry that despite trying to be a honest as possible it will use the first run of the new owner to serve up some TVR trouble.

If you are documenting the SE, then mine is a K plate not a J. Just turned 37k which I believe to be correct going by engine condition and MOT history.

Everything still works, even let my son drive it a short while. Once I got him to slow down, his face was a picture. Had to keep the roof on all the way home, it stopped and started raining more times than I can count. Cheers!

The Sports and Specialist Car Company very recently had No 25 or No 26 (there being no No 13) - I think I am right in this - and since they had a photo on their website, they would probably let you have a copy ...surely? Anyway, it was red with grey and pink interior. The link might take you there to ask them:

Not a real wedger yet! i will answer you tomorrow sir when I have no bevy on board. Boll****, what a wonderfull drive even with the roof on. Owned a S2 for 15months but not a patch on the V8 burble. Heavy rain for 300 mile would be enough for anybodies roof, I hope!!! No one is that die hard

the last and only LHD factory built 350SE lives in the Blackforest/Germany.
Was special built for a German TVR Dealer in 1990. I own this 350SE since 1993.

Drove about 200 miles with out the roof in pouring rain with lorry bow-waves washing into the car. Absolutely drenched! Another time, I drove 100 miles in a snow-storm (now that WAS interesting!), the entire inside of the car was white - Streaky
