'Lightweight Heroes' is the theme and looking on FB, there are a few Alpine owners attending. I'll probably attend as I only weigh 10.5 stone

I left before 7pm but passed a black corvette ( light for an American car) on the way back towards Banbury

It wasnt that much better at the Hut to be honest. Great turn out of Alpines ( 6 I think ) but only 3 Lotus, a couple of Aerial Atoms and a couple of Caterhams. Very little else of interest to look at. I thought being a Friday evening and lovely weather it would be better attended. The Pizza and the company of the Alpine guys was all good though

I went along in my Elise. I’m a regular and didn’t even know that was the theme. I feel they could do with having someone joining loads of groups and proactively posting about these things. That would drive numbers up.

My nearest C&M is The Bowl, they have an Alpine and Renault evening on Monday 18th August (assume the other venues do too) which I will head up to from Essex, last time I went to a similar one there were more Alpines than Renaultsports!
