noises..........

firstly i just thought id mention that yesterday was my first drive with both the window out and the roof off......very enjoyable,trouble is not only can you hear the exhaust more but i could here the engine more which at low speeds seemed very noisy,and so to my noises...


1. i think this noise is there all the time but i can only here when stationary,its a slight whine/deep tone whistle sound that comes and goes at regular intervals sort of two seconds on then two off,then on,then off etc


2. when accelerating to say 3500rpm and then quickly changing up a gear,just as you dip the clutch there is a sort of whoosh or maybe mechanical chatter,a bit like when a turbo car lets off boost between gears,matbe ok but just sounds odd.
anyway your thoughts would be apprecaited.

hhmmm, dunno, maybe loose timing chain, or broken engine mount, best to get it checked asap at your TVR dealers.

PS. With a TVR any new or strange noises should be looked at by a dealer asap.

I think timing chain too.
