I drove this route today from Canfranc to San Sebastian.
Le Somport
Arette
Isaba
Ezcaroz
Espinal
Saigots
Irurita
Arkiskil
Epela
San Sebastian.
Great roads. Some fast A road types and some more single track stuff. Good surfaces and a lot of climbs and descents.
Arette to Isaba was the highlight.

Omaruk - thank you!I gather towns with 50,000 inhabitants - although some with only 20,000 - have low emission zones - did you research any of this, I am going with a group and some of their overnight stays may be in these towns and I need to find out what the boundaries are - my car meets Euro 3 standard. Many thanks

See this thread: Driving UK car in Spain - LEZI got a French Crit Air sticker which seems to be recognised nationally in Spain.
