Heart-warming story of two rescue bears nipping out for some refreshment. Would obviously been less heart-warming had the emergency team mistaken the huge sugar rush the bears were enjoying as a sign of aggression, and had them shot, but all's well that ends well.

That's a bit of a Boo Boo if someone left the gate to their enclosure open. Still, in making a beeline for the honey they showed that they are smarter than the average bear.

Clearly a semi-professional crew. Apparently the bear not captured on camera during the raid was wearing a ski mask and carrying a stopwatch, as soon as they got into the honey store it jumped onto a table, started the timer and yelled "2 minutes" at the other one.

The other one just scratched its arse, mumbled 'whatevah' and started snuffling up the honey whilst gurning at the CCTV camera. As I said, semi-professional.

Perhaps there is something they can offer the judge as a bit of a sweetener?
