The Steam sale - Any gems?
Discussion
Apparently its the big summer sale...
Crash bandicoot was cheap for nostalgia's sake and I think one of the many star wars games (battle front 2) is cheap.
Anything else worth getting?
I see forza horizon 5 is half price, not sure how good it is compared to 4. I like 4 mostly because its a tiny version of the UK

Its a slippery slope! I don't recall S.T.A.L.K.E.R.one to be honest
LOL, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (ok, can we just call it Stalker) came out in 2007 so it was quite a while ago. Ah well that is 18 years ago and I hate that 2007 is 18 years ago also
I've been sitting on the fence with DayZ for years, quite literally, waiting for it to go down to 10-15 quid. Checking the historic pricing on https://gg.deals shows it's never dipped that low so that's ended up on my stupidly large "I'll get around to playing it at some point" catalogue. I'm not even a fan of multiplayer games, but it's always piqued my interest.
That, Zompiercer and Cribbish (stumbled across by accident) were my other two lapses. Still, for a grand total of £36 that's me having done better than previous years.
7 days to die is supposed to have a large stable update on Monday which will have me returning to that, so many games, so little time (and occasionally motivation for particular genres).

Rogue Trader looks to be about 50% off, it's a huge game and really very good (top-down isometric RPG)
Tainted Grail is about 20% off and is a fantastic Skyrim-esque affair
60% off Death Stranding starts bringing it into "Meh OK I'll give it a shot" territory for me
Just playing through rogue trader , it is big and very confusing at first especially like me if you know nothing about warhammer .Tainted Grail is about 20% off and is a fantastic Skyrim-esque affair

It is good but there are better turn based rpg’s.

Besiege - £1.27
Just bought that along with a whole load of split screen games as my daughter is now wanting to play on things other than Roblox. Humans Fall Flat is surprisingly good fun split screen, for £20 picked up a whole load of stuff which should see the summer out. Also picked up Monster Hunter on CDkeys for £10 with the expansion. Compared to consoles games, Steam is such good value. The latest Mario kart looks fab, for the cost of a Switch 2 and game I could probably buy enough games off Steam to keep me busy for the next 5 years of gaming and still not get through them all!!
Oh Hitman is an absolute steal at the current price, and the latest DLC is free with some new game mechanics, probably one the most played games in my Steam library.

What would you recommend ?
TBRPG? Bg3 or div sin 2 .
I might give the Warhammer a go although I do t know anything about it !
I really enjoyed Gears Tactics is it anything like that ?

Gears tactics is great , so warhammer is very different as a lot of your action points are spent buffing and debuffing and it takes a while to get your head around that and the dynamics of stuff is very complicated , oh and then you have turn based space combat which is like a separate game , and you also have to manage colonies , there is a ridiculous amount to do .I might give the Warhammer a go although I do t know anything about it !

I’m on act 3 and still no idea what some of the stuff is or does …’put these gloves on and increase carouse ‘ for example but carouse is not a talent or ability that appears anywhere on your characters so no idea what is going on with quite a bit of it .
It’s decent and they are supporting it with loads of extra content you can buy .
I started it because it’s included in Xbox live ,wouldn’t have bought it though but maybe at half price iyou will get decent value from it .
