Hi,

Car seems to take a bit longer to stop.
The Mazda brake pads and discs are not lasting long. Would changing to Pagid or Brembo make a difference to stopping distance and longevity?

Why? I mean, what prevents you from stopping shorter?

Well if I’m going 20mph and do an emergency stop its not stopping quick enough

With Mazdas, the first place to start is usually the brake calipers to check if pistons and sliders are moving as they should.

Do you have low-grip eco tyres?

What do you mean? What prevents you from stopping shorter?

Do you have all four wheels locked up? Is ABS engaging? Is the pedal hitting the floor? Have you run out of reach and can't press the pedal any further because your leg is too short?

Don't you just love threads like this?

We will eventually get a proper story, I am just leaving it to develop for a while!
