Hi guys,

Could you help me to find the 2 fuses that feed the electric windows system in my S3C ? There are 2 fuses marked as 104 and 105 on the V8S diagram... but I'm not able to find them in the car. Maybe the are near the 106 fuse that is the boot solenoid fuse, but I neither can find it . They are not under the glovebox with all other fuses.

Thanks for your help.

the S3C suggests a V6 engine, but your looking at a V8 wiring diagram?

the S3 with V6 has fuses in the passanger footwell.

sorry cant help with the V8

Yes, i'm talking about the V8S because the only wiring diagram giving information about electric windows, is the V8S one available online here : https://www.andrewc.org.uk/tvrgit/TVRV8SWiringDiag...

The 290S wiring diagram don't give any information about the electric windows.... neither the electrical mirrors and both are on my V6 car.

I own a 1992 V6 S3C, but V6 or V8, I could bet there is not any difference on this subject.

yep agreed the windows are not on the wiring diagrams.

check out the manual page 20

and your fuse box layout the top line of the diagram windows are 30A top right.

my fuses

the wire diargam has the 16 standard fuses starting at a. 15A ignition, the extras i assume were added depending on the spec of car , electric windows for me is 30A top right.

Unfortunately, I don't have the manual, only some pages found online. Thanks a lot, you're right, the top right fuse is the electric window power supply.

My electric window fuses were in the mess of wiring above the passenger footwell , NOT in the fuse board.

That doesn't look like a factory install ?

Your right Mike it looks ste , but when I took out the old alarm and immobiliser I disconnected the fuses and the electric windows stopped working .
Fuse in , fine , so I left it as I found it .
Typical TVR/aftermarket TVR fitment junk !

If the alarm system included automatic window lifters then it makes sense that the aftermarket alarm installation would have intercepted the window motor wiring. It does make sense to fuse the resulting new supply.
